International Rights Advocates and lead co-counsel file their Opposition to Defendants' Motions to Dismiss in the Nestle case

On November 7, 2016, International Rights Advocates together with lead co-counsel filed their Memorandum in Opposition to Defendants' Motions to Dismiss in the Nestle case arguing plaintiffs have sufficiently alleged that all three of the corporate Defendants in the Nestle case aided and abetted slavery and forced labor in Côte d’Ivoire. They also filed the Declaration of David J. Scheffer on Aiding and Abetting Liability Pertaining to Crimes Against Humanity Under International LawDeclaration of Equal Exchange, Inc., and the Declaration of William J. Acevez supporting this argument. A hearing on the Defendants' Motions to Dismiss will be held in January 2017.
